Hi, I’m Yelena.
I founded Zeal Energy Consulting five years ago to serve as a reliable technical partner for clients navigating complex energy decisions. With a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and deep experience across operators, non-op, and financial groups, I provide clear, actionable evaluations that help projects move forward with confidence.
My Background
With over a decade of experience, I’ve held key roles at Chesapeake Energy, White Star Petroleum, and Chaparral Energy—supporting reservoir engineering, reserves management, business development and A&D strategy. I’ve worked on multi-basin evaluations, reserve reports and technical due diligence for both operated and non-operated portfolios.
Earlier in my career, I gained field exposure assisting with wellsite operations, giving me a practical foundation that enhances my current technical work. My recent focus includes supporting banks and investment firms with reserve-based lending evaluations, as well as legal and mineral clients requiring defensible asset valuations.
